Questions & Answers

Q + A

  • What is the price range of your dresses?
Christina Wu, #BL, and Allure Bridals are $170-$230. Hayley Paige, Amsale, and Adrianna Papell are $250-$350
  • Do you carry plus sizes?
Yes. We have sample sizes between 18-28 within our #BL collection and Hayley Paige.
  • What are the sizes of your samples?
Most of the samples are between sizes 10 - 14.
  • How far in advance should I book my appointment?
We recommend coming in 8-9 months before your wedding. Also, to get your preferred time/date please book your appointment 1 month in advance as our weekend appointments tend to book up very quickly.
  • Can I stop in without an appointment?
As of right now our shop is operating only by appointment only. Please call/email/utilize our online booking portal to schedule a time to come in!
  • How long are appointments?
Appointments are 2-hrs - we know that sounds like a lot of time but believe us it goes by quickly. Usually, the first hour of the appointment the girls are trying on dresses. The first 30 minutes of the 2nd hour - we are finalizing dresses and the final 30 minutes we are sizing are ordering the dresses!
  • How long do dresses typically take to come in?
Our dresses take on average 3-5 months to come in. Also, expedited shipping is available if needed.
  • I have bridesmaids that are out-of- town. Can you accommodate them?
Yes! Once a dress/dresses, color, etc. have been selected we will give you instructions on how they can order their dress through our website. Our website provides a YouTube tutorial on how to measure bust, waist, hip, and hollow to hem. Size charts are also available to view on our website.
  • I have a large bridal party. Do you have a limit on how many people can attend the appointment?
We currently do not have a limit on how many people can attend the appointment, but we do recommend brides come in before the appointment to look at colors/styles for a more stress-free group appointment. Some brides will also book two appointments to reduce a large crowd.
  • Am I allowed to come in and pre-plan before I bring my bridesmaids in?
Absolutely! We have found that brides who have pre-planned their styles/colors before bringing in their crew have the best experience. We can do one - on - one pre-planning sessions on the weekdays! Our weekends are heavily reserved for our bridal parties. If a weekday does not work for your schedule, we can try to work something out before or after store hours for a pre-planning session. Please call us to make an appointment!
  • Are children allowed in the store?
We do not allow children in our store as we find that a lot of kiddos get bored very easily and start to take away focus from the appointment.
  • I want to do a mix & match of styles, colors, and fabrics. What is the best way to go about doing that?
Mix & match is a very pretty look but also takes a lot of hard work to put together. We HIGHLY recommend booking a pre-planning appointment where we can put colors, styles, and different fabrics together before bringing in the crew!
  • I have a bridesmaid that might be pregnant at the time of my wedding. How do you size bridesmaids trying to conceive?
We normally recommend that they order two sizes up from what they are measuring. Rule of thumb is that a seamstress can size down a dress up to two sizes should the bridesmaid not be pregnant at the wedding. We also recommend the bridesmaids choose an empire style to accommodate for a belly.
  • I have a bridesmaid who will be pregnant at the appointment? How do you size pregnant bridesmaids?
Unfortunately, pregnancy is entirely up to mother nature! We will measure the bust and hips only and compare them to the size chart. We'll have an open discussion and give our best educated guess. We also recommend the bridesmaid choose an empire style to accommodate for a belly.
  • Do you offer alterations? Are alterations included in the price of the dress?
No, we are too small of a shop to have an in-house seamstress. We do however have a list of highly recommended seamstresses that we can provide you with. It is very common to need to have some type of alterations done as dress sizes are cut based on the designer's size chart and not your actual measurements.
  • The appointment is BYOB/snack. Do you provide glasses, utensils, etc.?"
We do not! Please plan on bringing your own supplies.
